The Putnam Valley Library (30 Oscawana Lake Road) offers free, weekly drop-in chess sessions and dedicated learning classes for all ages and skill levels. All boards, sets, and clocks are fully provided by the library.
Wednesday Chess Club: Every Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Open to all ages and skill levels, ranging from casual games to rapid or blitz.
Saturday Chess Classes: Meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Specifically for kids and teens, taught by an experienced instructor
